Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce

1 tb onion powder
1 tb paprika
1 tea salt
1 tea pepper
1 tea cayenne pepper
1 tea garlic powder
1/4 tea cinnamon
1/4 tea ground cloves
1 1/2 c spicy mustard
6 oz tomato paste
2 tb sugar free maple syrup
1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1 tb hot sauce
32 drops liquid sweetener
1 1/2 c water
1 c apple cider vinegar


  1. In a medium sauce pan whisk dry ingredients. Add liquid ingredients and whisk until well blended.
  2. Heat over medium heat until hot. Reduce heat to low and cook for 30 minutes until thickened.
  3. cool before putting in glass containers.
