Creamed Pearls & Peas

IMG_20150910_185926 Ingredients:
2 tb butter
2 tb baking mix
1 c heavy cream
1/2 c parmesan
1 tb spicy mustard
1/2 tea salt
1 tea white pepper
1 bag frozen peas
1 c pearl onions (frozen or jar)


in medium sauce pan, over  medium heat, melt butter then whisk in flour. Cook two minutes. Whisk in cream, cheese, mustard, salt and pepper. Cook until thick.

Stir in peas and pearls, cook until hot.

Servings: 6          Net carbs:  6.3
