Taco Sauce

4-8 oz cans of tomato sauce
1 1/2 c water
1/4 tb vinegar
2 tb chili powder
1 tb garlic powder
1 tb onion powder
1 tb cumin
1 tea paprika
1 tea cayenne pepper
5 drops liquid splenda


  1. combine all ingredients in sauce pan. Cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes until thickened.
  2. Store in 4 – 8oz containers in freezer.

Servings, individual: 32     serving size: 2 tb     net carbs:  1.4

Servings, 8 oz: 4          net carbs:  16.3
