Low Carb Biscuits & Gravy

IMG_20150831_140021 Ingredients:
1# bulk sausage
1/4 c baking mix
1 tea salt
1 tea pepper
16 oz heavy cream
2 tea Thick it Up
water as needed

Instructions:

  1. Fry sausage, reserving grease
  2. Sprinkle baking mix over sausage and stir until grease is absorbed. Add more baking mix if needed (you’ll need to add these extra carbs). Add salt and pepper
  3. Gradually add cream about a third to a half cup at a time. Stirring constantly, keep adding until all cream is in pan. Add Thick it Up.
  4. Continue stirring until gravy is at desired consistency. If it becomes too thick add water, a few tablespoons at a time.
  5. Serve over Low Carb Basic Bread or biscuits
