1 medium onion, cut into narrow slivers
1 c coating (bread) crumbs
2 tb butter
14oz Kielbasa or Italian sausage, thinly sliced
3-14 1/2oz cans French style green beans, drained
1 c heavy cream
3 c shredded cheddar
- preheat oven to 375º
- sauté onions in butter, when browned add crumbs. Continue to cook until brown. Set aside.
- melt cheese in cream, add green beans, sausage and half the onion/crumb mixture.
- Pour into 9 x 13 pan. Top with remaining onions/crumbs.
- Bake 30 minutes until bubbly
